Hello everyone.

I’m Zak - top cohoona burger at Prezzybox.com and I’ve been working in the online arena since 1999. So, in the About TBW (The Bearded Warrior) I spose I’d better tell you a bit about myself…

Personal Life

I live with my missus (Bianca - designer at the Mighty Box and photographer extrordinaire!!! See piccy 2) and our lovely little doggy polly.

  We all work not a million miles away from where we live and travel to work by foot every day. Well, technically me and Bianca travel to work by foot, where as Polly travels to work by paw. However, I think you get the picture.

Work is a renovated Farm House in a tiny little village called Austrey and it’s very nice indeed. We’re surrounded by fields and cows and sheeps and horses (not Polly’s favourite animal!). All in all it’s pretty cool. I enjoy footy (Villa fan) and both watching and playing music. The about TBW section wouldn’t be complete without a blatant plug for my delightful band Apollo.

Work

I started the Mighty Box in 1999 just as the Internet Bubble was bursting. Great timing. I literally started in a borrowed office which didn’t have a phone, a plug socket and was painted bright chuffin orange. Rag rolled. Need I say more.

Anyway, over the last 8 and a bit years Prezzybox has grown into a decent little company who now employs 16 full time office staff and - depending on the time of year - loads of Warehouse staff (albeit through our fulfillment house). My role at the Mighty Box is predominantly strategic direction, marketing and general management.

Although the staff may disagree, it’s a pretty fun place to work and we’re fairly chilled out. We try to bring a bit of fun into the working environment, and it’s seen the advent of such great days as steak pie Tuesday, tidy Friday and the teams personal fave - late night Monday.

PS - Please note that myself and Bianca havn’t had our growth stunted. Neither are we dwarfs or small philapinos. They are actually old photos and we really look like this. Awwww - cute.
